Status Conditions

Status conditions appear as small icons under a chimera's health bar in combat. Some conditions can stack multiple times and will show the number of stacks by the icon.

Buffs

Focus

"An affected chimera deals +100% of damage for its next attack only."

Focus.png Focus cannot stack and is not removed at the end of the turn.

Guard

"An affected chimera does not receive damage from the next attack targeted against it."

Guard.png Guard cannot stack and is not removed at the end of the turn.

Leech

"After attacking, an affected chimera heals itself for an amount of HP.png HP equal to the amount of damage dealt."

Leech.png Leech cannot stack and is not removed at the end of the turn.

Regen

"At the end of the turn, an affected chimera heals itself for an amount of HP.png HP equal to the Regen value."

Regen.png Regen can stack and is reduced by 1 at the end of each turn.

Relentless

"An affected chimera survives one fatal attack and is left with 1 HP."

Relentless.png Relentless can stack and is not removed at the end of the turn.

Sneaky

"An affected chimera receives no damage from attacks if its allies are alive."

Sneaky.png Sneaky cannot stack and is not removed at the end of the turn.

Taunt

"An affected chimera is the designated target for the next opposing attack."

Taunt.png Taunt cannot stack and is not removed at the end of the turn.

Thorn

"After being attacked, an affected chimera deals to its attacker an amount of damage equal to Thorn value."

Thorn.png Thorn can stack and is reduced by 1 at the end of each turn.

Debuffs

Bleed

"Everytime (sic) its team rotates, an affected chimera takes an amount of damage equal to Bleed value."

Bleed.png Bleed can stack and is reduced by 1 at the end of each turn.

Blind

"An affected chimera misses its next attack and must try to attack once in order to end its condition."

Blind.png Blind cannot stack and is not removed at the end of the turn.

Burn

"When attacked, an affected chimera takes an amount of additional damage equal to Burn value."

Burn.png Burn can stack and is reduced by 1 at the end of each turn.

Confusion

"Everytime (sic) it attacks, an affected chimera takes an amount of damage equal to Confusion value."

Confusion.png Confusion can stack and is reduced by 1 at the end of each turn.

Entangle

"An affected chimera misses its next rotation as the leader and must try to rotate once in order to end its condition."

Entangle.png Entangle cannot stack and is not removed at the end of the turn. Contrary to its description, Entangle.png Entangle impacts the chimera moving, rather than the lead. For example, Boss Swap works if the ally leader has Entangle.png Entangle, but not if the boss has it.

Frozen

"An attack against an affected chimera deals +100% of damage."

Frozen.png Frozen cannot stack and is not removed at the end of the turn. It is removed after the affected chimera is attacked once.

Incapacitated

"An affected chimera cannot attack until the end of the turn."

Incapacitated.png Incapacitated cannot stack and is removed at the end of the turn.

Poison

"At the end of the turn, an affected chimera takes an amount of damage equal to Poison value."

Poison.png Poison can stack and is reduced by 1 at the end of each turn.

Sleep

"An affected chimera cannot attack and must be attacked in order to wake up."

Sleep.png Sleep cannot stack and is not removed at the end of the turn.

Misc.

Activation

"Can activate some equipment when gained."

Activation.png Activation can stack and is not removed at the end of the turn.

Boss

"Has a special die that only he can use. The battle is won as soon as the boss is defeated."

Boss status.png Boss is innate to boss chimeras at the end of each world. Boss status.png Boss cannot stack and is not removed at the end of the turn.

K.O.

"This chimera cannot act until the end of battle."

K.O..png K.O. is an abbreviation of "Knocked Out" and is applied when a chimera reaches 0 HP.png HP. K.O. cannot stack and is not removed at the end of the turn. Chimeras do not automatically revive at the end of combat.

Mana

"Can be consumed to trigger mana-based chimeras' effects called "SPELL"."

Mana status.png Mana can stack and is not removed at the end of the turn.

Equipment

Breakable

"This chimera holds an equipment that will break upon fainting."

Breakable also appears as a status condition on equipped chimeras in battles as a reminder. This visual reminder does not apply stacks if multiple Breakable equipment are equipped.

Cursed

"Once equipped to a chimera, this item cannot be unequipped."

Edible

"If the item holder is alive at the end of any battle, it will consume the item and benefit from its effect."
